I am excited to let you know about another free Legal Aid webinar that may benefit you or the clients you serve. On June 29^th from 2-3pm CST Legal Aid attorneys Shirley Peng and Shailana Dunn-Wall, along with Andrea Buckley of Iowa Legal Aid, will discuss the advance payments of the child tax credit, which will begin on July 15.

Over 88% of children in the United States will qualify for monthly payments of the Advanced Tax Child Credit. Most of the 39 million eligible households will receive the monthly payment in their bank accounts without any action needed, according to a recent Nebraska Community Foundation article.
