CLASS™ Observation (Reliability) Training – Toddler
June 24, 2021 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
CLASS™ Observation (Reliability) Training – Toddler
During this two (2) day session, participants will gain an understanding of the Toddler CLASS, the domains and the teacher-child interactions that support children’s learning, and learn to code using video observations. Completion of the online reliability test with 80% accuracy will allow participants to conduct observations in classrooms per Teachstone guidelines. Online reliability will qualify participants to proceed to live observation reliability with Nebraska’s CLASS anchor should participants want to be eligible to observe for the Nebraska Department of Education.
*The registration fee includes 2 training days, the Toddler CLASS manual, the score sheet booklet, and online access to practice videos and the online reliability test. Participants must attend both days of training.
*Training is for Nebraska early childhood professionals.
Classroom Assessment Scoring System, otherwise known as CLASS, is an observation tool that measures the effectiveness of classroom interactions among teachers and children, including emotional support, classroom organization and instructional support. The daily interactions promote children’s social and cognitive development.
Trainings continue to be added to the Early Childhood Training Calendar.
