A Closer Look at the Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS-3)

The Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS-3) is an observation tool used in infant and toddler classrooms in childcare settings and Early Head Start programs. The ITERS-3 assesses the quality of interactions between adults and infants and toddlers. Additionally, the ITERS-3 assesses the schedule and routines, materials and spaces accessible to children. This four (4) hour training is a facilitated discussion to provide a deeper understanding of the items in the ITERS-3. It is recommended that participants have attended the Introduction to the ITERS-3/ECERS-3 training prior to attending the Closer Look at ITERS-3.
Participants will want to bring their own ITERS-3 book or may purchase one when completing the training registration.
